1. What does the body of Christ at St. Peter’s believe?

The core text of our faith is the Holy Bible. “All content in the Bible is All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). At St. Peter’s, we believe Jesus Christ laid out the perfect example by which we should live our lives fulfilled here on earth and in preparation for eternal life with Him.

  2. How do I join St. Peter’s?

We are so excited that you want to join the community! In order to become a member of the church, you would have to fill out a membership form here and pay a minimum of $20, which is renewed annually.

  3. How can I get involved in the church?

There are ministries that reach everyone in the church. St. Peter’s has the Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and the Men’s Ministry. By joining one of these ministries here, you will be involved in the church, get the opportunity to meet people, and form strong bonds.

  4. If I need prayer or just someone to talk to, who can I reach out to?

Primarily, our Vicar, the Reverend Canon Linus Amonu, is always available if you need someone to pray with or just talk to. He can be reached at (609) 422-0988. There is also a ministry called the Evangelical Prayer Ministry (EPM) that deals with prayer requests. You can also contact us here

  5. Are there any special or annual events that happen at St. Peter’s?

Celebration of the church of Christ is what we often do! St. Peter’s has their annual Harvest and Bazaar, which occurs the second Sunday in October. The Harvest is a way to show appreciation and thanks to God for everything that we were blessed with throughout the year. Also, we have an annual picnic on the first Sunday in August. This a time when we, as a church family, come together and have fun by playing games, dancing, and eating. See our events here.

  6. What is there for the children to do? Will they be involved?

Fortunately, a few years ago, the Children’s Ministry was created in order to reach the younger ones in the church. They have a Sunday School class that goes from 10am to 11am and afterwards, they have their own service while the main service is going on. The Children’s service consists of worshipping and praising God, hearing a short sermon from one of their teachers, offering and then closing. Snacks are also provided for the children while they interact with each other. This not only allows the children to feel welcome but also grow in their faith.

  7. Is free parking available?

Fortunately, finding parking is not an issue. Parking is graciously available to us by the Hamilton Veterinary Hospital across the street from the church, except for Saturdays. Also, there is free street parking all around the church.

  8. If I cannot attend church for some reason, is there an online stream I can follow?

As a result of the pandemic, we gather online via zoom. Visit our Events page to see when our next meeting is and how to join. However, we are also working on uploading snippets and summary from our sermons on Messages page and our social media pages as well. This will allow those that missed the service to still be fed by the Word when they watch the snippet and read the sermon summary.
